Why We Exist
We believe a home is more than a house. It is part of your identity, a reflection of what you value. At Shepherd Painting, we want to honor that. Our company was built around the idea of stewardship, treating every space and every person with respect.
Our goal is not simply to apply paint, but to leave homeowners with a great experience from start to finish. We want you to feel confident throughout the process. That means honest communication, thoughtful preparation, and work done the right way. We exist to provide a painting experience that honors the homes and the people within them.
Who We Are
Shepherd Painting is a family-run company founded by Jimmy and Steph. Both were raised in Colorado, and their paths crossed during their undergraduate years in Fort Collins. They created Shepherd Painting to better serve their family and their community.
After years working in healthcare, Jimmy and Steph stepped away to build something of their own. Throughout his college years, and on days he wasn’t working in the hospital, Jimmy continued doing handyman work and developed a passion for transforming spaces through painting. Together, Jimmy and Steph built Shepherd Painting around the idea of stewardship, treating every home as something entrusted to them, much like a shepherd would.
Today, Shepherd Painting provides professional interior and exterior painting rooted in care for people and a commitment to lasting quality.
Jimmy
Jimmy serves as your main point of contact from start to finish, leading projects with clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards. With extensive paint knowledge and a strong sense of integrity, he works to ensure every homeowner feels cared for throughout the process.
Outside of Shepherd Painting, Jimmy enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active. He values connection with family and friends, often over a shared meal or coffee. He is continually learning, growing, and pushing himself both personally and professionally.
Steph
Steph helps keep Shepherd Painting running smoothly behind the scenes, overseeing administrative work and content creation with care and intention. She brings a steady presence to the business, ensuring the details are thoughtfully managed and the brand reflects the values it was built on.
In addition to her role in Shepherd Painting, Steph is a stay-at-home mom who cares deeply for her family while balancing the many rhythms of home. Outside of work, she enjoys homemaking, photography, time with friends and family, and getting outdoors whenever she can.
